Choose the experience that fits you
Before choosing a virtual world, check the details that will shape your first session. Here is what that means for Pixel Crowd.
- Audience
- Adults aged 18 and over. Read the community guidelines and respect other players’ boundaries.
- Platform
- The supported game client runs on Windows PC. Review the download page for current hardware requirements.
- Character tools
- Head sculpting, body sliders, wardrobe options, tattoo controls and poses help you build your look.
- Social spaces
- Shared rooms and community-created items give you places and styles to explore.
- Access and costs
- Memberships provide the listed access and benefits. Optional store items are bought separately with game coins.
- Trying the game
- Free access is available during a live announced event, or through an eligible trial when offered. It is not permanently free-to-play.
Plan a first visit around one activity
You do not need to learn every tool before meeting the community. Pick a small goal for your first visit and leave room to explore.
- Create your game account, check your access and install the Windows client. You can download in advance of an announced free-access event.
- Give your avatar an initial look. You can start with the broad shape and an outfit, then spend more time on details later.
- Visit a shared space or look for a community event that interests you. Read the rules of the space and respect other players’ boundaries.
- Use the guides when you want to go further with character styling, room items or community creations.
Coming from another virtual world?
If you already play IMVU, Second Life or 3DXChat, start with the features and community you want from your next game. Pixel Crowd has its own accounts, inventory, access packages and game economy.
Our introductions explain Pixel Crowd for players exploring those alternatives. They are published by Pixel Crowd and do not imply that the services are affiliated.
Get ready to join
Download the game from the official Windows download page. It lists the launcher, an alternative download and current system requirements. You can install before buying access or before a free-access event begins.
For a closer look first, browse real community screenshots of avatars and rooms. The membership page explains paid access; the game profile shows the access attached to your account.
