A quick hello can become your next night out, friendship, or roleplay story. Chat and Friends keep your conversations close while you explore Pixel Crowd's 3D social world.
Start a conversation
- Open Chat on your in-game phone.
- Choose + New chat, search your friends, and select someone.
- Type in Message and click the send arrow.
Already talking? Open the conversation from your inbox. Search conversations helps you find it; All, Direct, Groups, and Channels filter the list. New chat starts a conversation with an existing friend. Add new friends through their character profiles.

Say it your way
Use the smiley button for emojis and custom emojis. Choose Photo to attach a picture or Selfie to take one. Review your photo before sending; use the remove button if you change your mind.
Open World to join the live channel. Its banner explains that World messages are also shared with Pixel Portal on Discord, so keep that audience in mind.

A conversation with Alex
Fictional example for this guide; Alex is an imaginary player. The featured image is a styled illustration.
Alex: Meet by the fountain?
You: On my way!
Alex: Bring your camera.
You: Definitely. Let's take a selfie when everyone arrives!
Use a direct conversation for plans with one friend, or open an existing group conversation to catch up with your group.
Make chat comfortable
- Use the sun or moon icon to switch between light and dark themes.
- Use the bell to mute or unmute conversation notifications where available.
- Open … for conversation options, including pinning and notification controls.
- Use the pop-out arrow to move the conversation to the main chat and close the phone.

Keep your friends close
Open Friends to search your friends and filter All, Online, or Offline. Choose Message to chat or Profile to visit a character's profile. Requests opens your Activity inbox.
Friend options also let you remove a friend or block a character, with confirmation before the change. Last-seen information reflects what this device has observed.
For your next shared moment, try Camera, Selfies & Video, then post your favourite picture on Pixelife.
