Camera, Selfies & Video

Capture your virtual life with Pixel Crowd: take avatar selfies, photograph friends, record short videos, and share photos through your in-game phone.

A night out, a new outfit, a favourite face: some moments deserve more than a chat message. Pixel Crowd's phone camera lets you take avatar selfies, capture your surroundings, and record short videos inside the 3D world.

Take your first photo

  1. Open your in-game phone and choose Camera.
  2. Select PHOTO and use the camera-switch button to choose your view.
  3. Frame your shot, adjust the camera controls, and press the shutter.
  4. Open Photos to find your saved picture.

Normal camera photos save to your screenshot folder. When you open the camera from a sharing flow, follow that app's preview and send controls.

Make the shot yours

Control What it changes
Switch camera Change between your selfie view and the other camera.
Flash Cycle through Off, Auto, and On lighting modes.
Gaze Choose Off, Random, or On for your avatar's camera gaze.
Tilt / Reset Adjust the phone's angle or restore its tilt.
Rotate / orientation Choose portrait or landscape framing.

Try different angles and lighting before capturing. A portrait frame suits a close-up; landscape leaves more room for friends and the scene around you.

Record a video clip

Switch to VIDEO, choose your options, and press the red record button. Press it again to stop, or let the clip reach its 30-second limit.

  • Choose 720p or 1080p.
  • Select 24, 25, 30, 50, or 60 FPS.
  • Turn Audio on or off to include game and radio sound.
  • Leave encoding on Auto, or choose the available hardware or software option.

Wait for saving to finish. Clips are saved as MP4 files in the Clips folder inside your screenshot folder and appear in Photos for playback.

Find and share your moments

Open Photos, or use the camera's library button. Pictures and clips are grouped by day. Open a photo to zoom in, or a video to play, pause, and seek.

For photos, choose Share and send the picture to Pixelife, a friend in Chat, or a Circle chat. Review it in the destination app before posting or sending. Video clips currently stay in your local library; the photo-sharing buttons do not upload videos.

Capture the atmosphere
